Serial killer Ted Bundy, whilst acting as his own attorney, managed to marry Carole Ann Boone whilst she was testifying in the middle of his murder trial. Bundy was taking advantage of an old and obscure law that enabled people to be pronounced married if they made a marriage declaration in front of a judge in a court of law.
